When Halloween isn't celebrated

Good Morning and welcome to October. This year is really going fast for me. Not sure about you? Today I am sharing 2 card projects as part of my DT work with the Happy Craft Creations. My First project is a card I created using a really cute Witch Digital Image from IKEsART.
you can find them on Facebook HERE.

Ike's Art Witch Digital image.

Broom Rides card.
I used the following items to create my card:-
*Pre scored card base and envelope 51/4" X 71/4"
*Witch Digi image from IKE'S ART.
*CC10192 Spooktacular paper pack from Close To My Heart.
*Sapphire ink pad from Close To My Heart.
* Spooktacular sticker sheet from Close To My Heart.
*Silver glitter washi tape from Kszazz.
*Copic Markers from my stash.

I then had another little play with this month's Card Sketch which was created by Megan Flynn.

Happy Craft Creations October Card Sketch.
I had a lot of fun with this sketch as you can see below.

Happy Birthday Pirate Rabbit Birthday Card.
For this card I used the following items:-
*CC10192 Spooktacular paper pack from Close To My Heart.
*X254 Value pack Cards & Envelopes 51/2"X41/4"  from Close To My Heart.
* Spooktacular sticker sheet from Close To My Heart.
*Z3089 Enamel Dots Grey.
*C1662 Wise Guy Birthday Occasions stamp set.
*CC10191 Frightful Friends stamp set and Thin-cuts.
*Copic markers from my stash.
*Sharpie markers from my stash.

As you can see from these cards a Halloween paper pack or theme doesn't mean it's all about bats and spooky things (even though they are cool :) )
So next time you see a theme why not think outside the box and see what you can create.

If you go to the Happy Craft Creations facebook group or Blog you will see some more amazing work from the DT for your inspiration.

Until next time have a wonderful week and happy crafting to you all.

September DT projects.

Well hello there Spring. I'm always surprised at how fast time flies lately. It's September already....so where did August go????
For my DT project this month with Happy Craft Creations this month we had the theme of Spring. Spring is my favourite season because it's not to cold and not to hot for me anyway. Do you have a favourite season? Do let me know in the comments.

5610 Stencil-Spring Garden
Our September card sketch is quite cute and with the Kaszazz stencil I was inspired to create 2 cards this month. As always I will do my best to link all products that I have used. That that I haven't linked to maybe retired.

My 1st card is using one of my favourite colours purple well a shade of it as this is actually lavender.

Items used:-

For the Congratulations sentiment I first used an Anti-Static pouch all over my white cardstock. Then I inked the congratulations stamp with a VersaMark ink pad and poured some Lavender embossing powder over it and heat set it.

Now for my second card. This is my very first attempt at a white on white card it was working well until I used the silver trimmed ribbon lol.

Get well soon white on white card.
Items used for this card are:-
I created the get well sentiment the same way as I did the congratulations.

August DT Project.

Oh wow isn't this year just flying by? I can't believe it is August already can you?
Today I would like to share my Design Team project for Happy Craft Creations. Our theme this month is vintage which is a style I enjoy creating with.

August Mood Board.
This months mood board made me think of some Kaszazz papers that I had in my stash already so I have used them along with the Card sketch that was also supplied to us on the Design Team.

August card sketch.

This time around I also challenged myself to not use any stamps or inks on my card.
And here is my card :)

Here is a list of items I have used:-
Heartfelt Collection 12' X 12' papers which are now retired.
Glossy Accents to attach the metal butterfly.
Super Tape double sided adhesive.

Christmas in July

Hi there!!! Today I wanted to share with you a project that was inspired by the mood board below. But before I do that I feel I need to tell you that I have never ever created using a mood board before so please bare with me while I practice a bit more using a mood board :)

Happy Craft Challenge July mood board.
As I stated in a previous post this month our theme is Christmas in July. I had a 5inch by 5inch card base in Vanilla in my supplies so have used that for this card.
Joy, Be Jolly 5X5 Christmas card.
I won't be sharing links to products as I have a feeling that some may no longer be available for purchase. But that shouldn't stop you from seeing if you can source them though. :)

Jolly Christmas wood flourishes from Kaiser craft.
I used my sharpie pens to colour the wood flourishes. let them dry for a few minutes and then used some Liquid Glass from Close To my Heart on top to seal and give the flourishes a shine.

My collection of Sharpie pens.
My sharpie pens were purchased from both Kmart and Target. The silver gems and rhinestones are from Close To My Heart.
